My name is Scott McCracken, I started tattooing around 2009; after an apprenticeship for a year or so in the sprawling metropolis of Ingersoll, Ontario. After working in a few shops over the years, in 2015 my wife and I finally opened up Castaway Tattoo in Woodstock. When I’m not working there I can always be found at Sugar Shack!

I don’t think I have a favourite stye of tattooing, I’m definitely in love with the trade though. I’m drawn to every style in its own unique way. Anything from a small colourful butterfly to a large scale black and grey; or traditional to Japanese…. I love it all and always learn something new with every tattoo I do!

When I’m not tattooing, I can be found hanging out with my lovely wife and my beautiful son, or just enjoying the outdoors…. getting in some sweet travel time is always a bonus for us!
